Newtap ("we", "us") provides digital business cards you can share by link, QR code, or NFC, on the web at https://newtap.me and in our mobile apps. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Account details. Your email address (used to sign you in with a one-time code) and the profile information you choose to put on your card — such as name, job title, company, phone, links, and photos. Your card exists to be shared: the details you place on it are shown to anyone you share it with.
Contacts you capture. When someone fills your lead form, or you save a contact in the app, we store what they submit (name, email, phone, notes) for you.
Usage & analytics. Card views and link taps (with coarse, non-identifying context) so you can see how your card performs.
Location (optional, apps only). If you grant location permission, we use your position for the features you invoke — tagging where you met a contact, and finding nearby Newtap users. Location is never collected in the background, and both features work only while you use them. You can decline or revoke the permission at any time.
Payments. Paid plans are processed by Stripe (web) or Apple (iOS). We never see or store your card number.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't show third-party ads. We don't scan or upload your phone's address book.
Your card page is public to anyone who has its link or scans its QR code — that's its purpose. Behind the scenes we use service providers only to run the product (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), each bound to use data solely to provide their service. If you connect an integration (for example a webhook, Slack, or Google Sheets), we send your lead data where you direct us to.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit or delete cards, leads, and contacts at any time in the product, and you can delete your entire account from Settings → Account — that permanently removes your cards, leads, analytics, and profile. You may also email us to request a copy or deletion of your data.
Newtap is a professional networking tool and is not directed at children under 13.
